Compost at your neighbour’s house vs at your home through Sharewaste.com
I have my compost bins on Sharewaste.com for neighbours to drop off their food scraps into my front yard compost.
STEP 1
Register and create an account
STEP 2
Locate someone in your neighbourhood that has a compost bin and send them a message asking them to drop off scraps at their house and get approval.
STEP 3
As each compost might have different guidelines on what they accept…but most compost people list what they will take
STEP 4
Start saving your scraps in a specific bin and make sure you are following the correct rules of composting
STEP 5
If you are not sure BEST to not put it in the compost as it can ruin your compost or someone else’s. Best to always ask first beforehand to ensure you will be contributing to their compost in a positive way.
STEP 6
Once your compost bin is full… walk/bike/drive over to your neighbour’s home to drop off your compost in their bin and that’s it!

Repeat this every time your bin is full up.
