Open Shelf Eco Tips
So Tony wanted add more shelves for our jars of nuts and dried fruit and granola… 🙊 this shocked me as my open shelf jar collection has rubbed off to him now. We had decided not to put our 3 tier shelves up as our exposed brick wall looked so cool. (Swipe to see our brick wall) We also wanted to reuse our shelves somewhere else in our home.
We put all of these jars in a pantry drawer but we realised that if it’s out of sight out of mind… we didn’t think to eat them.
So that’s what my TIPS for the week
TIP 1
Place your healthy snacks where you see it as you will be more inspired to eat it!
TRICK
The mind is always going to trick you into eating those bad foods you might have hidden in a drawer so to stop that craving place healthy options for your mind to see and can quickly grab when you are hungry 🤤
TRICK
You don’t have to open shelves… this can work in your fridge and your pantry… it’s all about placement
TIP 2
Buy your nuts 🥜 and dried fruit at BULK FOOD local stores @thesourcevicpark and we sometimes make day trips to the city @kakulasbros
I have a whole blog post on my Plastic Free Pantry link in bio
If you have made your own plastic free pantry I’d love if you would share them with me or tag them in #ecoyogiwarrior so we can all see what you have been doing to live a more intentional life 🌎 ♻️
